Jewelry Designer - PBD is looking for an experienced and highly creative designer for our jewelry lines. The ideal candidate should possess a strong sense of style and have a proven track record of translating fashion trends into jewelry designs. Must have experience working with metals; manipulation, construction and componentry. Experience must include sketching, developing mockups and producing technical drawings. Thorough understanding of cost of goods, pricing structures and ability to design to specific price points required. Able to identify, forecast and research market trends and organize trend materials. Maintain work flow and track designs, materials, and components between silversmiths, stringers, and domestic/international factories/suppliers. Must possess a strong sense of color/trends and be able to interpret into jewelry ideas, have excellent communications skills and an ability to work in a team environment. Travel to Asia factories required.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
+ Minimum 3+ years experience
+ Thorough understanding of the design process, materials & manufacturing techniques
+ Ability to conceptualize new product, produce mechanical drawings & execute samples
+ Highly organized and detail-oriented
+ Strong computer (Adobe Suite) and communication skills
+ Overseas experience preferred
+ Desire to work in fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
+ Ability to work closely with senior management, vendors, factories and sales team on product design and development
+ 3D computer skills a plus

Launch Project Manager - Peyote Bird Designs, is seeking a career-minded individual for the position of Launch Project Manager. The ideal candidate will seamlessly manage multiple, international projects, cross-functionally, across an international manufacturing organization. Work closely with clients to achieve new product quality, margin and company objectives. Develop and oversee project schedules and calendars. Document, assign, and drive action items to successful, on-time completion. Maintain vigilant project oversight to quickly identify, analyze and resolve problems before they develop into greater issues. Accountable for identifying product sourcing, including: communicating feasibility, anticipatory quality and issues; prepare first cost analyses, client pricing, BOMs, quotes, specifications, shipping harmonizing codes, declared values and samples process. Accountable for all client-driven product information, specification sheet and quality control documentation.
Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization, proven history in project management with inherent ability to persuade with a collaborative, positive, team approach; demonstrated advance skills using MS Office, Project and Excel; demonstrated skill in mathematics and basic finance formulas and computations. The ideal candidate must be able to travel internationally, have superb attention-to-detail, thrive in fast-paced, pressured environment, possess positive team leadership and mentoring qualities and has the confidence and aptitude to work at all levels. Product Development Associate
We are seeking a Product Development Associate to join our team. Responsibilities include: Supporting Product Development and accounts (from start to production-ready); meeting and exceeding company financial targets for products; documenting and tracking all account samples; managing sample spreadsheets at all points through the sample lifecycle; sleeve development with focus on accuracy and tracking; general dept support. Preferred candidates will have jewelry manufacturing experience, a strong level of accuracy, attention-to-detail organizational skills. Design Assistant
We are looking for a motivated, high-energy individual to fill a support position in our Design department.
Responsibilities
+ Organize materials, castings, beads etc. Be efficient and thorough at creating log documents and easy solutions to finding parts
+ General department organization, clean up and upkeep
+ Sort and put away design materials after use
+ Assist in cataloging and tagging/labeling incoming merchandise
+ Assist in putting away newly received materials in the appropriate area
+ Update the design wall with current product per market
+ Ability to use email and surf the web for trend projects
+ Able to navigate company drives to locate files and print as needed
+ Photoshop projects
+ Assist with sketching of designs and simple technicals created by team
+ Able to begin initial research on projects for ideation
+ Make copies and file
Required Skills
+ Passion for jewelry!
+ Attention-to-detail and excellent organizational skills
+ Proficiency with computers, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite
+ Ability to draw, sketch, produce mechanicals and/or technicals
